The project
Between 2021 and 2022 we designed and produced audiovisual content and video projection installations for the galleries of the Pinacoteca Albertina in Turin.
Paintings, documents and archive materials became video sequences woven into the visit: a painting that opens up in depth, a floor that turns into water, a room that finds the tables of a historic café again. Every piece grew out of the relationship between image, exhibition space and audience.
From render to gallery
The work started with drafts and renders presented to the museum, then moved on to filming, partly in collaboration with the historic Baratti & Milano café, and editing. In the galleries we positioned and fine-tuned the projections with the exhibition curator, and at the preview we gathered the first reactions of visitors for the final adjustments.
The project was developed with a group of students from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin, coordinated at every stage.
