Wonderproof is a photography and video studio founded in Turin by a photographer and a filmmaker. We are the official photographers of Teatro Regio di Torino and Lingotto Musica, we document contemporary art for museums and galleries, and we bring to our work the television editing experience gained at Rai.

We portray the works and the people who make them possible: artists, curators, crews, artisans.

What sets us apart

An author’s eye

We do not simply document: every image carries a point of view. It is the same eye behind our personal projects, like Perle di Luce, shown at The Venice Glass Week and Homo Faber.

  • We only work in culture

Theatres, museums, galleries, festivals, foundations, fine crafts. We know the rhythm of an opening night, the rules of an exhibition hall and the needs of a press office.

  • Colour true to the work

We go to great lengths to faithfully reproduce the colours and nuances of everything we photograph and film, whether artworks, historic canvases, stage sets or costumes.

  • Press office timing

Photos delivered by the next day, selected and edited. For festivals, on the same day.

  • Photo and film, one direction

One point of contact for stills and film, with a consistent visual language on every channel.

  • From Turin, anywhere

We work across Italy and abroad. For foreign galleries at Italian fairs we are the local team, with no travel costs.

Why Wonderproof

wonder·proof /ˈwʌn.də.pruːf/ adj., proof of wonder

Wonderproof means “proof of wonder”. We tell the beauty and wonder of what happens in theatres, museums, galleries and concert halls, and we present every project exceptionally well. In printing, a proof is also the test print: the sheet where every image is checked against the standard before it goes out.
