The project
For the fashion show that closed ARWE, Art Research World Expo 2026, the festival devoted to Italian and international art and design academies, we designed the visual backdrop of the runway at SET Scalo Eventi Torino.
The garments became the starting point for a digital language: shapes, colours and materials translated into a continuous sequence of about 60 minutes, built on layers, depth, transparency and animation, in dialogue with the rhythm of the models on the runway.
Designed for the real screen
The venue has an ultra high definition LED wall in a panoramic 2.67:1 format. Every piece of content was designed for it: no hairlines, tiny details or small text, which get lost on an LED wall. Before the event we checked everything with a render of the venue, then compared it with the real set-up.
Generative AI, with judgement
The project was developed with a group of students from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin, whom we guided from visual research to final delivery. Generative AI tools supported the development of ideas, while the creative choices stayed with people.
